Singapore Prestige Brand Award (SPBA) was inaugurated in 2002 by the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (ASME) and Lianhe Zaobao. Today, SPBA continues to recognize and honour Singapore brands that have been developed and managed effectively through various branding initiatives. HLEW was accorded the Singapore Brand in 2012.
MINDEF TOTAL DEFENCE AWARD
In recognition of employers’ contributions and support towards the operational readiness of the SAF and national defence, MINDEF introduced the Total Defence Awards (formerly known as SAF Awards for Employers) in 1986. As a supporter of Total Defence, HLEW was awarded this prestigious Award in 2010 and will continue to render our cooperation in ensuring that our NS employees can fulfil their National Service duties with minimal disruptions so that the SAF can effectively conduct regular in-camp-training, mobilisation and requisition exercises.
LEVEL STAR AWARD
bizSAFE is a five-step programme to assist companies build up their Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) capabilities in order to achieve quantum improvements in safety and health standards at the workplace.
bizSAFE Enterprise refers to an organization that is participating in the bizSAFE programme and has been recognized by the WSH Council for putting in place WSH programmes such as Risk Management and WSH Management System. The bizSAFE Awards recognise their commitment and improvements in making workplaces safer and healthier, as well as bizSAFE Partners for their contributions to the bizSAFE community. HLEW has secured the bizSAFE Level Star Award.
